Dear League Participant,

Re: Grading Games

We have 183 teams now and registration is now officially closed. Those teams who have not paid please do so by the end of this week, 25th November.

Grading will take place on the 26th and 27th November with grading times, schedules and pitches enclosed with this Bulletin. Please all take care and read the schedules carefully.

For the grading we would ask you to do the following;

  • Teams to arrive and register 30 minutes before their first match
  • Go to allocated pitch
  • Report to JSFA Grader at pitch side
  • Have all player IDs ready for inspection by JSFA steward - All players to wear team kits, shin pads and football boots - Water dispensers will be available but all teams /players should bring own drinks
  • All teams, coaches and parents to observe JSFA rules and code of conduct
  • FAIR PLAY and RESPECT at all times

Briefly the U8, 10 & 12 will play round robin format of 3 matches x 15 minutes duration each.
The U 14’s will play round robin format of 3 matches x 20 minutes each with the U16 to play 2 matches x 25 minutes each.

The grading process is necessary and therefore it is so important that we have the full support and cooperation of all participating schools/ teams to try and achieve the correct outcome thereby ensuring a competitive, fair and enjoyable season for all teams.

Every game will be watched by a JSFA appointed grading official comprising JSFA committee members and selected professional football coaches.

Once all grading games are completed the match scores plus observations and recommendations from the grading officials will be carefully reviewed prior to allocating the teams to divisions.

I want to also announce that Jeane McCombie has agreed to join the Committee for the 2017 season, both Duncan and I are very pleased she has agreed to join us and help with the running of the JSFA. I am sure she will assist you all in making the new season a success.

Thank you all for your support and look forward to seeing you at the British School this weekend!

Best regards,

Kirk Evans
